Skirt steak taco with grilled salsa verde on a pork fat tortilla made on the @webergrills SmokeFire grill! The 200-600°F temperature range on the SmokeFire gives you the versatility to sear, smoke, bake, and everything in between. I’m truly impressed with how this grill can sear compared to some other pellet grills I have used.
In addition to the skirt steak tacos, I made ancho chili shrimp tacos with pico de gallo, cotija, slaw and roasted jalapeños and sweet potato tacos with radish, cotija, cilantro lime crema and cilantro.
Additionally, the Weber exclusive Flavorizer bars distribute heat to help prevent hot and cold spots. I love how I can see the flames below the grill grate. It’s unlike other pellet grills I’ve used. I look forward to exploring all that this grill has to offer!

Grilled shell on red Argentinian shrimp bayou style recipe is live on my blog. {ad} These shell on red Argentinian shrimp from @omahasteaks are my new favorite! These shrimp are massive and are sweet and firm like little lobsters. I grilled them up in about 6 minutes then added them to my zesty sauce which is an ode to a restaurant back home. Served with some great sauce for dipping, I like to serve these as an appetizer for multiple people to share. A peak at that beautiful cube of Japanese A5 strip I made the other day. I seared it on all sides in @finexcookware on my @hestanhome range. I asked my boy if he was willing to try rare as opposed to medium rare on this A5 and he was all in (one of the many reasons I love this kid). You know it’s good when the person eating it takes a bite, closes their eyes and savors it. I had a bite or two and let him finish it since he was so damn happy. Remember, you can buy your kids lots of material things, but it’s often experiences that are the most meaningful and stick with them forever. Shell on red Argentinian shrimp from Omaha Steaks are finally here! {ad}. These shrimp are unique in that they are this pink/red color when raw. In fact, these raw shrimp are just about to go on the grill. These shrimp are also unique in that they are sweeter, firmer and taste more like little lobsters. I grilled these at 450°F 3 minutes per side on my @webergrills SmokeFire and they were excellent! #omahasteaksambassador #omahasteaks #redargentinianshrimp

Last night my boy with his keen eye saw a 3oz Japanese A5 strip steak at the grocery store. He homed in on that piece of beef faster than a seagull in a parking lot begging for your French fries. This is the same boy who insists that when I go to the grocery store that I don’t buy things I didn’t go there for. He said one of his friends asked him about Wagyu. The friend didn’t understand what it was, or that there were different types and classifications. As I looked at him, I asked what he told his friend. For the most part is was spot on. I asked the boy, “What have I created?”. His response was basically that he would be eating cheap garbage through college so he does appreciate a great steak now. Fair point I presume. He was lucky last night. The beef was short dated and was half price. Some day I’m really going to miss all of these bonding moments with him. He’s growing up way too fast as they always do. We shall share this morsel together today. To him, just another day. To me, it’s a lot more than that as any parent knows. How am I going to cook it? Hot and fast on cast iron on my @hestanhome range. Just a quick sear on all sides them finish with some salt. Three ounces of something this rich is plenty for both of us.

Private Reserve Bone-in 24oz Ribeye Cowboy Steak from @omahasteaks on my @webergrills SmokeFire grill. {ad} For fun I seared one side of this beast of a steak on the grill grates and the other side I seared on the griddle accessory so I’d get that delicious crust. Yeah I like playing with my food, it’s fun! Being that this grill can get up to 600°F there is no doubt it’s a searing machine. And the steak, I’ll leave you with the words of my son. “We are spoiled Mom.
